Annie Bosko announces debut album ‘California Cowgirl’ & shares new track

Rising singer-songwriter Annie Bosko has announced her debut album ‘California Cowgirl,' arriving October 3 via QHMG/Stone Country Records. The project draws on her roots as a farmer’s daughter in California’s agricultural heartland, blending classic storytelling with a sound that balances confidence, catchiness, and country soul.

“California Cowgirl is a colourful tapestry woven from the threads of my life — with a fabric for everyone,” Bosko said. “From the grit of growing up a farmer’s daughter to the faith that’s kept me chasing my dreams, this album reveals both the tender and the tough sides of who I am. It carries the pioneer spirit of the West, the heartbeat of the American dream and a Golden State glow with country soul.”

To coincide with the announcement, Bosko released a new studio version of ‘Honky Tonk Heartbeat,' the track that soundtracked Ariat’s viral “Line-Men Dancing” campaign featuring San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, his center Jake Brendel, and retired tight end Bear Pascoe. The campaign showcased the linemen performing a choreographed line dance to Bosko’s song, bringing its lively lyrics to life.

Produced by Trent Willmon and David “Messy” Mescon, the album includes collaborations with top Nashville writers like Jeffrey Steele, Bridgette Tatum, Danny Myrick, and Terri Jo Box. Bosko co-wrote more than half of the record, which also features contributions from Lainey Wilson, Garth Brooks, and Hannah Dasher. Fans will hear already released tracks including the title cut, along with ‘God Winks,' ‘Tequila Time,' ‘Country Girls! (Who Run the World)' and ‘Heartburn,' featuring Dwight Yoakam.

Bosko will celebrate the release with an album launch party on October 3 at Desert 5 Spot in Los Angeles. She will then join Dolly Parton for Dolly: Live in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 10. Ahead of that, Bosko will headline Nashville Dance Fest on September 7 and support Jessica Simpson at Genesee Theatre on September 20.
