Bon Jovi, the Grammy Award–winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, will release their new 14-track collaboration album ‘Forever (Legendary Edition)' on October 24 via Island Records (preorder here). Alongside the announcement, the band revealed that the lead single, ‘Red, White and Jersey' will drop this Friday and is available to stream on all platforms (pre-save here). In addition, the Bruce Springsteen collaboration ‘Hollow Man' will be released the same day (pre-save here).
The new record reimagines songs from Bon Jovi’s 2024 album ‘Forever' featuring an all-star lineup of collaborators from across the music world.
“This album is more than just a collection of collaborations—it is an album borne out of necessity,” said Jon Bon Jovi. “My vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehab was a well-documented journey during the release of Forever in June 2024. While I could sing in the studio, touring or promoting the album wasn’t possible. Without the ability to tour, I called on friends to help me during that time. They're all great people and artists. The result is an album with a new spirit—proof we all get by with some help. I feel tremendous joy and gratitude releasing this album, and I think it shows. In the end, it’s not ‘me’—it’s ‘we.’”
The original ‘Forever' received widespread acclaim: The Times called the album “a triumph,” The Sun praised Jon’s “masterful vocal performance and some of his most affecting lyrics,” and Classic Rock described it as “a big-sounding record designed to be played in big rooms.”
