Lainey Wilson releases deluxe edition of ‘Whirlwind’ with five new tracks

Lainey Wilson has released the deluxe edition of her award-winning album ‘Whirlwind' today via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. The extended version adds five new songs to the original 14-track project, offering fans an expanded look into one of country music’s most celebrated recent albums.

The new tracks include ‘Bell Bottoms Up,' ‘King Ranch, King George, King James,' ‘Yesterday, All Day, Every Day,' ‘ Peace, Love, and Cowboys' and Wilson’s current single, ‘Somewhere Over Laredo.' The latter debuted earlier this summer, climbing steadily on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart while also reaching number one on the UK Country Airplay Chart.

‘Somewhere Over Laredo' has been a standout release for Wilson, becoming the most added song at U.S. country radio during its impact week and amassing more than 1.16 million streams across platforms in its first 24 hours — marking the biggest first-day streaming debut of her career. The track has been praised by outlets including CBS Mornings, Rolling Stone, and Billboard, with the latter calling it “one of her most commanding, dynamic vocal performances to date.”
