Samantha Womack and Su Pollard lead star-studded ‘Beauty and the Beast’ panto cast at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley

The Churchill Theatre Bromley has announced that stage and screen favourite Samantha Womack and panto legend Su Pollard (‘Hi-De-Hi') will headline this year’s Christmas pantomime ‘Beauty and the Beast', running 6th December 2025 – 4th January 2026.

Womack will play the Enchantress, with Pollard as Mrs Potty, joined by ‘Britain’s Got Talent' ventriloquist Jamie Leahey as Silly Billy, seasoned panto dame Ben Stock as The Dame, and musical theatre star Sheri Lineham as Belle.

Su Pollard is a national treasure whose career spans over 50 years in television, theatre,
radio, and music. She also lit up screens in beloved situation comedies including ‘You Rang, M’Lord?' and ‘Oh, Doctor Beeching!'. She hits the road this autumn with her nationwide tour ‘Still Fully Charged'.

Produced by Crossroads Pantomimes, the show promises a festive mix of laughter, music and magic. Theatre Director Lorna Strawson says the pairing of Womack’s elegance and Pollard’s comedic charm will deliver “a truly unforgettable pantomime experience.”

The Churchill Theatre's annual panto has set a high standard and is a firm family favourite every Christmastime. See the Churchill Theatre for more information and to book.
