Rising country star Zach Top has released his latest single, ‘South of Sanity,' giving fans another preview of his forthcoming album ‘Ain’t In It For My Health,' set to arrive August 29 via Leo33. The new track continues to build momentum for what’s shaping up to be one of the most talked-about country albums of the year.
The release follows the success of his lead single, ‘Good Times & Tan Lines,' which has already earned widespread acclaim. The Los Angeles Times named it one of the best songs of 2025, calling it “as crisp as country music gets,” while Billboard hailed it as “one of this summer’s top country anthems.”
Top is currently on the road for his Cold Beer & Country Music headline tour, which will stretch into the fall with newly added arena dates including Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre (for two nights), Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center, Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center, Charleston’s Credit One Stadium, Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, and Charlottesville’s John Paul Jones Arena. In addition to his own tour, he continues to support Dierks Bentley on the Broken Branches Tour throughout the summer.
The new album follows Top’s breakout 2024 debut ‘Cold Beer & Country Music' and arrives during a landmark year in his career. He recently notched his first No. 1 at country radio with “I Never Lie,” a milestone that coincided with being named ACM New Male Artist of the Year. Top also took the stage at the ACM Awards for a stripped-down performance of ‘Use Me,' which American Songwriter described as “a moving acoustic rendition.”
His momentum hasn’t gone unnoticed—he has been called “the future of country music” by Billboard, earned a nomination for New Artist of the Year at the 58th Annual CMA Awards, and received Discovery Artist of the Year honors at the 2024 MusicRow Awards. Earlier this year, Top also released ‘Me & Billy,' a three-song collaboration with two-time Grammy winner Billy Strings.
