Ashley McBryde to open ‘Redemption Bar’ in Chief’s: Celebrating Sobriety & Inclusivity

Starting August 28, Nashville’s iconic Broadway will welcome a one-of-a-kind venue with the opening of Redemption Bar, a new concept spearheaded by country star Ashley McBryde. Located on the fifth floor of Eric Church’s six-story Chief’s venue, Redemption Bar is a bold and personal addition to Broadway’s nightlife—designed as a space that honors McBryde’s journey to sobriety while celebrating original music and genuine connection.

With a name rooted in second chances, the venue promises an experience as raw and real as McBryde’s own songwriting.

Redemption Bar will offer a zero-proof cocktail menu inspired by lyrics that helped shape McBryde’s recovery, but the vibe will be anything but quiet. Alcoholic drinks are also available, reflecting the bar’s inclusive spirit. “You can get alcohol drinks in Redemption too, because everyone is welcome,” McBryde says.

Beyond the drinks, the heart of Redemption lies in its stage, where rising songwriters will showcase original work—an intentional shift from the cover-heavy norm of lower Broadway. The venue is also a testament to McBryde’s creative kinship with Eric Church, with both artists known for forging their own paths in country music. “Redemption is a great place to start a conversation,” McBryde adds. “A spot with incredible drinks of all kinds that are as well crafted and thought out as the songs you’re hearing from the vagabonds, drifters, and dreamers that make this music city, Music City.”
