Sugababes are summer ready with their banger of a new single ‘Shook'.
The latest track from the girl group follows ‘Weeds' and ‘Jungle'. The song is driven by a pulsing bassline, infectious bounce, and ever-expanding synths. ‘Shook' is an ode to instant chemistry on a flirtatious night out – knowing exactly what you want, and when you’re going to get it. Speaking about the new single, the band say “We’re so excited to share ‘Shook'! Our third single with Jon Shave and Anya Jones. From the moment we started writing and then putting the harmonies together, we knew it had to be a single. It has an unmistakable Sugababes chemistry, somewhat instinctive once you lock in creatively in the studio – it just felt right. ‘Shook’ is our summer party banger!”.
Since reuniting in 2019, the original Sugababes lineup has reaffirmed their place as one of the most successful and influential vocal groups in British pop history. Following their highly celebrated return, they have shut down Glastonbury twice due to demand, sold out their biggest-ever arena tour and performed to record-breaking crowds at major festivals across Europe.
