Chris Young will release his new album “I Didn't Come Here To Leave” (pre-save now) on 17th October 2025.
The album's arrival coincides with the 8th anniversary of Young's induction into the Grand Ole Opry. To celebrate the news, the album's title track has been released, which you can listen to below:
“I Didn't Come Here To Leave” is Young's 10th studio album and his first with Black River Entertainment. The album features 14 songs with Young on co-writing duties for 11 of them. Fans can expect previous release “Til The Last One Dies” to be included on the record along with the just released title track.
“At this point in my career, I hope someone listens to this album and says ‘Wow, he dug deep,’” Young explains. “The funny thing is, I’m here saying ‘Yeah, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever made,’ and I believe it wholeheartedly. It’s wild to step back and see a really long list of things I’ve gotten to do already… But I didn’t come here to leave.”

Young has established himself as one of the biggest artists in Country music since the release of his 2009 breakout classic “Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)”. Over his career he's toured with the likes of Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and Alan Jackson and his 2025 summer tour mixes headlining shows with festivals alongside Lainey Wilson, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, and more.
“I Didn't Come Here to Leave” marks the start of a new chapter for Young.
