Evan Bartels will perform at St Pancras Old Church in London on 27th August 2025.
The acoustic show will take place following Bartels' appearance at The Long Road Festival 2025 on 24th August. The annual, weekend-long gathering, taking place at Stanford Hall in Leicester, this year plays host to such acts as James Bay, Midland, Seasick Steve, The White Buffalo and Drake Milligan.
Bartels comments: “London is a city full of millions of stories and voices. I’m especially excited to have the opportunity to perform at St Pancras Old Church, so I can bring my voice and my stories to the city for an evening.”
Tickets are available for Bartels' show at St Pancras Old Church now.
Bartels’ return to the UK comes in the wake of multiple appearances at the illustrious Country 2 Country festival in both Berlin and London earlier this year, followed by a run of UK / Irish dates supporting Charles Wesley Godwin.
Current EP, ‘To Make You Cry', was recorded in his handmade cabin outside of Nashville; this stunning six-song set not only takes notice of those people who are often unseen, but also explores the sacrifices and spirituality of a working musician.
“I wanted these stories and songs to be very intimate, where it feels like you’re hearing something through a wall, or you’re seeing something through a window, and you perhaps shouldn’t be,” explains Bartels. “Also, I wanted it to feel expansive. I wanted it to sound like the West, which is often stark and intensely beautiful in a way that takes your breath away.”
