Country music star Lauren Alaina and her husband Cam Arnold have announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl named Beni Doll Arnold. The couple welcomed their daughter on Wednesday, June 11, in Nashville, and Alaina shared the emotional news on social media, expressing the profound impact of becoming a mother for the first time.
“The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn't even know existed were unlocked at 8:44 AM when they laid you on my belly for the first time,” Alaina wrote in a heartfelt message to her newborn. “You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents.”
To celebrate Beni’s arrival, Alaina also released a deeply personal new song titled ‘Heaven Sent.' Written with HARDY and Ben Johnson, the track reflects on the bittersweet journey of becoming a parent while grieving the loss of a loved one.
The song was penned just weeks after the passing of Alaina’s father, and soon after she learned she was expecting. “Watching my own husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it with you now,” Alaina said. “She came just before Father's Day – my first without my own father. A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect reason to celebrate it.”
