Walter Presents is bringing German crime drama ‘The Shadow' to C4 Streaming in June.
Written by Stefanie Veith, the series stars Deleila Piasko, Andreas Pietschmann, Luisa-Céline Gaffron and Christoph Luser.
Norah, a journalist in Vienna, is shaken when a beggar woman tells her she will kill a man named Arthur Grimm on August 13 at the Prater. Brushing it off as nonsense, Norah’s doubts grow when the woman is found dead the next day.
Soon, Norah begins receiving anonymous messages warning her about Grimm. Her life spirals—objects go missing from her apartment, she experiences disturbing memory lapses, and begins questioning her sanity. Determined to uncover the truth, she digs deeper, unaware that someone is watching her every move.
As the mysterious connection between Arthur Grimm and Valerie, Norah’s childhood friend, comes to light, the pieces of the puzzle become more personal—and more dangerous. Time is running out, and Norah becomes increasingly convinced that the prophecy is real..
