Thomas Rhett expands ‘About A Woman’ with three new songs

Country hitmaker Thomas Rhett is heating up the season with the release of three brand-new tracks, adding fresh energy to his acclaimed seventh studio album ‘About A Woman.' Released as part of an expanded edition titled ‘About A Woman (From A Small Town)'

The new songs showcase Rhett’s signature blend of charm, craftsmanship, and genre-blurring flair. The additions include ‘Small Town Girls,' a laid-back, soulful duet with rising star and tourmate Tucker Wetmore; ‘I’m That Guy,' a smooth, roots-inspired R&B groove; and ‘Dance With You,' a synth-laced country disco jam that brings pure feel-good vibes to the forefront. Together, they reflect Rhett’s knack for creating crowd-pleasing, emotionally resonant music with an infectious sense of fun.

“When we were deciding what to include on ‘About A Woman' last year, I had about 30 songs we were picking between,” said Rhett. “We landed on the 14 that came out in August knowing we could keep releasing more of the others.” With a clear vision to continually connect with fans through new music, he added, “These three are feel-good summer songs that the band and I have already started rehearsing for tour, and to sing ‘Small Town Girls’ with Tucker every night is going to be a blast.”

As one of the most consistent chart-toppers in modern country, Rhett is bringing his latest material on the road for the Better In Boots Tour, kicking off June 5. The nationwide trek features support from Tucker Wetmore and either The Castellows or Dasha, with a special stop at Boston’s iconic Fenway Park in July, joined by Wetmore, The Castellows, and frequent collaborator Teddy Swims.
