Sophie Ellis-Bextor will release her 8th studio album ‘Perimenopop' on 12th September 2025 via Decca.
To celebrate the album announcement, the singer has released her new single ‘Taste', which is a collaboration with MNEK. She's also announced a new headline show at London KOKO on 8th September 2025.
Available for pre-order now, ‘Perimenopop' is described as ‘a positive record that is a playful celebration of where Sophie is at in her life, knowing exactly who she is and embracing the joy and empowerment that brings'. The album features the previously released tracks ‘Freedom of the Night', ‘Relentless Love' and ‘Vertigo'.
Sophie says, “‘With ‘Taste’, I collaborated with MNEK and Jon Shave to write a playful, flirtatious pop song about chemistry. What can really make you want to be around someone is when their taste, what they like in life, is something you become addicted to. You want to experience all delights with them and share it with them as everything they introduce you to feels just right. All your senses feel alive and awake – like the full flavour of life is realised. Chef’s kiss.”

Tickets for the newly announced show at London KOKO are available for pre-sale with pre-orders of the album on 14th May and go on general sale on 16th May.
Sophie will embark on her biggest ever UK headline tour in May and June, taking in 16-cities in total, including a sold-out headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall. She will return to London for a newly announced album launch show at KOKO in September before heading out on a headline European tour in September and October. The full dates are:
