Dylan Marlowe has released a new song today titled “Country In The Clouds,” featuring fellow artist and close friend Conner Smith. After both teased the track individually, the two took to TikTok to let fans decide the song’s fate, ultimately unveiling the collaboration together.
Marlowe co-wrote the introspective track with Brent Anderson, David Medlin, Jameson Rodgers, and Zach Abend, with production handled by Abend and Joe Fox. “Country In The Clouds” explores a hopeful vision of heaven, imagining it filled with the special moments and places that define country life. The upbeat melody, paired with warm instrumentation from the banjo, mandolin, and dobro, creates an inviting and reflective atmosphere.
“Conner is like a brother to me, so to have this song out with him is really cool,” Marlowe shared. “We had a lot of fun teasing this one before it dropped. To have a song that dives into things like faith and the special moments I had growing up with family in Georgia was a natural fit, but I think we explored those topics in a new way. Excited for everyone to hear this one.”
Fans who attended Marlowe and Smith’s recent “Did We Just Become Best Friends? Tour,” which hit cities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida, got early listens of the song during their live shows.
Marlowe also recently released another new track, “Picture Perfect,” praised by MusicRow Magazine as “sweetly sung.” The song, written by Marlowe, Dallas Davidson, Seth Ennis, and Joe Fox, is now available on all streaming platforms.
Looking ahead, Marlowe will take the stage at the Chevy Riverfront Stage during CMAFest this summer and will hit the road as an opener for Bailey Zimmerman’s “New To Country Summer Tour” starting in June.
