Charles Kelley announces new solo album ‘Songs for a New Moon’ release date & track list

Charles Kelley is stepping into a bold new creative chapter with his upcoming solo album ‘Songs for a New Moon' set for release on June 25 via Capitol Records Nashville. Marking his first major solo project in years, the 16-track album leans into shimmering '80s pop influences while embracing themes of self-discovery, optimism, and reinvention. Produced largely by Sam Ellis and Lindsay Rimes, with Kelley co-writing every original song, the album features lush saxophones, layered synths, and soaring vocals that push his artistry into fresh territory.

New songs ‘Run' and ‘Driving And Listening to Music' are out now, showcasing the record’s blend of nostalgic tones and modern storytelling. The album also includes a mix of upbeat anthems and soulful ballads, from the smooth, romantic ‘Can’t Be Alone Tonight' to a cover of The Killers’ ‘Here With Me' and a reimagined take on Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Time After Time.'
