Preston Cooper will release his debut album “Toledo Talkin'” on 30th May 2025 via The Valory Music Co.
The 12-track collection, which sees all but three tracks co-written by Cooper, features the recently released songs ‘Weak', ‘One More Place I've Never Been' and ‘Numbers On a Mailbox'. It also features the newly released track ‘One For The Road', which you can listen to below:
“Toledo Talkin'” is a lean fusion of Country heart and bluesy alt-rock, lashed together with sheer vocal intensity that feels miles from the Music Row norm. Built on chasing dreams, battling doubts, and learning where you stand, the project finds a small-town phenom exploring his creative coming of age, with stadium-sized potential rooted in plainspoken Midwestern authenticity.
“I love this album because it’s so personal,” Cooper explains. “Coming from a small town, I worked a 9-5 at the post office and wasn’t even sure if I would make it to Nashville. This album is about me moving away and taking a chance. I’ve gone from the bar down the street to the next state, to the country, and hopefully on to the world. My biggest hope is to make authentic, organic Country music and inspire other young musicians to do the same.”

“Preston blew me away from the first note, and then learning his story and his path made me an immediate fan,” shares Big Machine Label Group Chairman & CEO Scott Borchetta. “And then, I saw something I’ve never seen before at CRS — TWO STANDING OVATIONS! Get ready, Preston Cooper is coming, and you don’t want to miss it!”
Cooper is currently on the road in the US as direct support for Kameron Marlowe on the “Keepin’ The Lights On” Tour. This summer, he will join Riley Green on select dates of the ‘Damn Country Music Tour' and perform at various festivals, including making his CMA Fest debut this June.
