Dylan Scott scores sixth No. 1 as he prepares new album

Just days before launching his biggest headlining tour yet, Dylan Scott is celebrating another major milestone. His latest single, ‘This Town's Been Too Good To Us' has soared to No. 1 on both the Billboard and Mediabase Country charts, marking his sixth career chart-topper and second No. 1 hit of 2025. The song, co-written by Scott alongside John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Taylor Phillips, and Ryan Vojtesak, serves as the lead single from his newly announced album, ‘Easy Does It' set for release on May 30.

“This No. 1 is special to me,” said Scott. “A song about where I grew up and the people I grew up with. To be able to have two songs hit No. 1 in 2025 is crazy! I'm grateful for my promo team at Curb who fight for my music every single day and to all the radio stations out there that continue to support my music. Thank y'all!”

Filled with nostalgia and heartfelt reflection ‘This Town's Been Too Good To Us' pays tribute to Scott’s hometown of Bastrop, Louisiana, reminiscing on the moments that shaped him. Themes of small-town life, love, and family values are woven throughout the 11-track album ‘Easy Does It'. Scott has already given fans a preview of the project with the release of ‘I Hate Whiskey,' following previous tracks like ‘I Owe You One,' ‘You'd Think I Was A Cowboy' and ‘What He'll Never Have' which has already surpassed 285 million global streams.

Scott’s latest chart-topper follows closely behind his collaboration with Dylan Marlowe, ‘Boys Back Home,' which hit No. 1 just two months ago. With two No. 1 songs in 2025 alone, Scott is currently the fourth most-played artist on Country radio this year, ranking just behind Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, and Jelly Roll.

The momentum continues as Scott kicks off his Country Till I Die Tour this Thursday, April 3, with a show in Boston. The 17-city tour will take him coast-to-coast, including major stops in New York City and two shows in Ontario. Special guests George Birge, Dasha, and Graham Barham will join select dates. Additionally, Scott recently announced a headlining fall show in Nashville at the new venue The Pinnacle on September 26, where he’ll be joined by rising artists George Birge and Mackenzie Carpenter.

Scott spent much of last year on the road, first as direct support for Cole Swindell’s Win The Night Tour before launching his own I Owe You One Tour, which saw high demand and multiple sold-out shows.
