Cole Phillips debuts new single ‘West Tx’

Cole Phillips has released new single ‘West Tx', the latest taster from his upcoming EP ‘Steel Toes and Texacos', which will be released on 11th April 2025 via RECORDS Nashville.

Fans can pre-order the EP now and to get ready for its arrival, they can watch the official music video for ‘West Tx'. Feast your eyes on the video and listen to the track below:

‘West Tx' captures the restless spirit of a young man leaving behind heartache as he journeys through the Lone Star State, trading his problems for the open road. With evocative lyrics and Cole’s signature husky delivery, the song paints a vivid picture of longing, regret, and self-discovery.

Phillips hails from Bridge Creek, Oklahoma and at the age of 20, he's carving his own path in the Country music genre. Known for his raw storytelling, he draws inspiration from the Country greats such as Hank Williams Jr. and David Allan Coe as well as rock and red dirt icons such as Metallica, Nirvana and Zach Bryan.

Fans first took notice of Cole when his breakout single ‘Drinking Alone' went viral on TikTok. With over 50 millions streams to date, the song has given the star a platform, which he's quickly building on.

For his ‘Steel Toes and Texacos' EP, Phillips co-wrote every track on the project. The EP was produced by Trevor Thornton and leans into a sound that blends classic country storytelling with a modern, red dirt edge.

“I wanted to tell my story the way I know how – through honest songs,” shares Phillip. “These songs are about where I come from, the people I’ve met, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.”
