Adam Sandler is reprising one of his most famous roles for ‘Happy Gilmore 2', the sequel to his classic 1996 box office smash ‘Happy Gilmore'.
The original film focused on Happy (Sandler), who found he had a talent for golf after failing to make it as an ice hockey player. No official synopsis has been released for the sequel but from the look of the teaser trailer, Happy is returning to golf once again. Watch it below:
‘Happy Gilmore 2' is directed by Kyle Newacheck, and written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler. Returning alongside Sandler are Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald. The film's cast also includes Ben Stiller, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (aka Puerto Rican music star Bad Bunny), John Daly, Sadie Sandler, Sunny Sandler, Conor Sherry, Ethan Cutkosky, Philip Fine Schneider, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Travis Kelce, Blake Clark, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and Paige Spiranic
The film is produced by Adam Sandler, Tim Herlihy, Jack Giarraputo and Robert Simonds. The executive producers are Judit Maull, Kevin Grady, Dennis Dugan, Barry Bernardi, David Bausch and Dan Bulla.
‘Happy Gilmore 2' will debut exclusively on Netflix on 25th July 2025.
