Tucker Wetmore Announces Debut Album ‘What Not To’ Ahead of C2C festival debut

Rising country star Tucker Wetmore is set to release his highly anticipated debut album, ‘What Not To' on April 25. The announcement comes just days after revealing his first headlining show at the iconic Ryman Auditorium on May 21. Wetmore took the Ryman stage during Universal Music Group Nashville's Country Radio Seminar showcase to unveil the 19-track collection, which captures the highs, lows, and lessons learned throughout his 25 years.

Produced by Chris LaCorte, ‘What Not To' weaves together interconnected themes, inspired by real-life experiences and hard-won wisdom. The album’s title track, co-written with Jacob Hackworth, LaCorte, Chase McGill, and Jameson Rogers, is a deeply personal reflection on struggle, compassion, and redemption. Wetmore gave an emotional piano performance of the song at the Ryman, delivering a powerful message: “Momma said you don’t pray no more / Breaks my heart, so I do it for you.”

In the lead-up to the album release, Wetmore has dropped ‘3,2,1,' a hook-driven track that will serve as his lead single at country radio, going for adds on March 10. Following his recent No. 1 hit ‘Wind Up Missin’ You,' the song tells a story of regret and missed chances with lyrics that cut deep: “Three words, two late, damn girl, you’re the one that got away.”

Wetmore’s rise in country music has been nothing short of meteoric. His RIAA Platinum-certified hit ‘Wind Up Missin’' You dominated the charts, earning him an iHeartRadio Music Award nomination for Best New Country Artist and recognition as an Opry NextStage Artist. He recently made his national television debut on NBC’s TODAY with Jenna & Friends, performed at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa in Mexico, and is set to play Country 2 Country (C2C) in March. His upcoming tour schedule includes an extended Waves on a Sunset Tour 2025, featuring a sold-out show at London’s Electric Ballroom, as well as a direct support slot on Thomas Rhett’s Better in Boots Tour 2025, covering 33 dates this summer.

Approaching the one-year anniversary of his breakout debut, Wetmore has cemented himself as one of country’s most exciting new voices. His back-to-back Billboard Hot 100 hits ‘Wine Into Whiskey' and ‘Wind Up Missin’ You' have propelled him to over 780 million global streams, earning him spots on coveted “Artist to Watch” lists from Spotify, Billboard, VEVO, and MusicRow.

With new music, major festival appearances, and a whirlwind touring schedule ahead, Wetmore is a name to watch. For updates and tour dates, visit tuckerwetmore.com and follow him on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
