Australian pop singer Oliver Cronin has released his new single ‘Room for Two'.
The track, which features on his current EP ‘Edge of Paradise', is a lovelorn song about being apart from a romantic interest and performed with his characteristic boy-next-door charm. It also became a fan favourite during his recent live shows.
Cronin's nine-track ‘Edge of Paradise' EP also features his recent Australian radio hit ‘Girl Next Door'. A pulsating, bass-heavy electro-pop rush, it sees Cronin duet with the ARIA-nominated Charley on a song that playfully captures the confusion of a love triangle with a twist. Another standout moment on the set is ‘Maria', a classic dramatic ballad made in collaboration with Filipino band Lola Amour.
He adds, “As you can probably tell by the name, we’re one step closer to my debut album ‘Paradise’. The last few years have been an absolute rollercoaster and I haven’t exactly felt in the right headspace to finish this album, but I've grown a lot and as time goes on, I feel more and more comfortable and confident in the music and what paradise looks and sounds like for me.”
With over 40 million streams to date and a million TikTok followers, Cronin is building on all fronts. His takes on songs by Doja Cat, RAYE and Russ established a passionate audience, which he has built upon by high profile moments such as touring with Nessa Barrett, performing at the Australian Open, and features on numerous big Australian TV shows. Media support has also included the New York Post and Marie-Claire.
Cronin will play his debut London show as guest to Natalie Jane at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 1st.
