“I wrote this song about a friend who always brought around the textbook ‘mean girls,’ the ones with bad intentions you could spot from a mile away,” Gardner shares. “He’s as stubborn as a mule, so we figured we’d let him be. But me? I like a buzz when I’ve caught it, and somebody had to say something—so I did. And I put it in a song. I give you ‘Buzzkill!’”
