The news you've been waiting for is here – ‘Gladiators' will return for a second season on BBC One and iPlayer this month.
The new series will kick off on Saturday 18th January 2025 at 5.50pm on BBC and iPlayer. Fans have been waiting eagerly for the new series following the celebrity special on New Year's Day, which saw TV presenter Joel Dommett and actress Ellie Taylor claiming victory.
Bradley and Barney Walsh will return to host the iconic show as a new batch of contenders take on the Gladiators. Each episode will feature five events and of course the epic Eliminator.
All of the Gladiators from the first season are returning so expect to see Legend, Fire, Bionic, Diamond, Nitro, Electro, Giant, Athena, Steel, Fury, Apollo, Comet, Viper, Phantom, Sabre and Dynamite trying their best to thwart the contenders.
The first episode sees Giant meet his match on the duel podium, Viper finally breaks his silence, and we witness the long-awaited return of the legendary, metal-crunching event, Atlaspheres.
