‘The Masked Singer' returned to ITV and ITVX this weekend as viewers, and the celebrity panel, tried to guess which celebs were underneath the new crop of masked characters.
Last night's show saw not one but TWO characters unmasked as host Joel Dommett oversaw proceedings and series detectives Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan were joined by actress and one of TV’s favourite detectives Vicky McClure.
The first unmasking saw Spag Bol unmasked as broadcaster and journalist Kate Garraway. Talking about her time on the show Kate said, “I can't sing and I kept telling them (the production team) that and they said it doesn't matter.”
Kate added, “Just to have an incredible chance to come out dressed as spaghetti and waddle around trying to sing. It's been so much fun and everybody's been great.”

The second unmasking of the night saw culinary legend Dame Prue Leith unmasked as Pegusus. Talking about her time on the show, Dame Prue said, “I have say this is the most amazing experience. I've never sung a note. I'm tone deaf. I have been having lessons and I've got slowly able to at least make a noise.”
Next week's show will see Puffer Fish, Toad In The Hole, Wolf, Bush and Bear return to stage to fool the panel and viewers at home, but who will be unmasked.
Following The Masked Singer is ‘The After Mask', hosted by Harriet Rose (Kiss FM, MTV, The Brits). Craving a further fix of masked-related mayhem after the main show, head across to on-demand, social and digital channels including ITVX and YouTube: The Masked Singer UK.
‘The Masked Singer' continues Saturday at 7pm on ITV1, ITVX & STV.
