Finnish series ‘Evilside' is coming to Channel 4 and C4 Streaming courtesy of Walter Presents in February 2025.
The series is created by Aleksi Puranen, Antti Kairakari and Oona Haapaniemi and stars Olivia Ainali, Amira Khalifa, Dennis Nylund, Matti Onnismaa, Tarja Heinula and Olavi Angervo.
In a small community located on a remote island in Northern Finland, Johanna (16), a bullied outcast among her peers, becomes the prime suspect in the ritualistic murder of her only friend, Aapo.
Detective Ulla Penttinen, specializing in cases involving teenagers arrives to investigate the case and is soon convinced of Johanna’s innocence and tries to prove this.
But with the real killer on the loose, Johanna tries to stay alive and clear her name by trying to solve this mystery herself. As the superstitious community starts turning increasingly against Johanna, can she clear her name before it’s too late?
Walter Presents: ‘Evilside' season 1 launches on Channel 4 on 23rd February 2025 at midnight. The full boxset will be available on C4 Streaming from Friday 21st February 2025.
