Walter Presents is bringing not one but TWO seasons of ‘Black Tulips' to C4 Streaming this month.
The series, created by Jacqueline Epskamp and Wim Hoen, stars Huub Stapel, Linda van Dyck, Anna Drijver, Roeland Fernhout, Carolien Spoor, Benja Bruijning.
In the first season two feuding families from the flower bulb region in the Netherlands compete to see who can cultivate the rare Black Tulip whilst struggling with money problems, sex, romance and family dramas.
The ‘Black Tulip’ series combines powerful drama with (supernatural) suspense and romance, exploring the conflict between two feuding families from the flower bulb region of the Netherlands. A mysterious fatal accident turned the families into archenemies and their constant feuding is further ignited by a race to cultivate the rare Black Tulip. Little by little, the mystery of their past is revealed, but nothing is ever what it seems.
Soon, both families will have to choose between life or death and love or hate. Can they ever forget the past or will they pursue their vendetta until one of them is destroyed?
‘Black Tulips' will premiere on Channel 4 on Sunday 8th December 2024 at midnight. It will be available as a full boxset on C4 Streaming from Friday 6th December 2024.
