Renowned for his powerhouse vocals, Randy Houser has joined forces with country superstar Miranda Lambert for an unforgettable duet ‘Still That Cowboy,' available now via Magnolia Music Group. The heartfelt track, which celebrates enduring love, highlights the seamless vocal chemistry and deep friendship between the two artists.
A Long-Awaited Collaboration
“I’ve always wanted to have Miranda sing on this song because I could hear her voice on it with me,” shared Houser. “She is one of my favorite singers and favorite people, and I’m so appreciative of her lending her incredible talent to it.”
Lambert echoed his sentiments, saying, “Randy has been a friend for a long time, yet we’ve never recorded one together. I have loved his voice forever and am honoured he asked me to sing on ‘Still That Cowboy.’”
Part of a Bigger Project: ‘Note To Self' Deluxe
The new duet will feature on Houser’s upcoming album expansion ‘Note To Self Deluxe' set for release in January 2025. The project promises more exciting collaborations, including ‘Rub A Little Dirt On It' with Riley Green, ‘Country Round Here Tonight' with Justin Moore, and a yet-to-be-announced track with a special guest.
A Red Rocks Milestone
Houser recently delivered a career-highlight performance at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater, joining HARDY for two sold-out shows. The moment was especially poignant for Houser, as it brought back memories of a meaningful trip with his late father.
“Red Rocks was the last day trip my daddy and I took together before I took him to the hospital in Denver,” Houser recalled. “I was 21 years old and could only dream of getting to play here someday. He knew I would and told me I would. He wanted me to see it so badly. I know he was smiling down as I got to share it with his grandson.”
During the performance, Houser’s son Huck joined him onstage for a touching cover of Tom Petty’s ‘I Won’t Back Down.' Watch the emotional moment HERE.
