Riley Green debuts emotional video for ‘Jesus Saves’

Riley Green has debuted the music video for ‘Jesus Saves', the fan favourite song from his new album “Don't Mind If I Do“.

Released in honour of Veteran's Day, the song tells the life story of a homeless veteran. The video features a stripped back performance from Green alongside visuals that portray the struggles and journey of the protagonist.

In addition to the video, Green will be donating to Folds of Honor from his charitable fund, Buford Bonds which was created in 2023 to support nonprofit organizations around the country which help those who need it the most.

‘Jesus Saves' was written solely by Green and it's inspired by a man he’d routinely see on a street corner in Nashville with a cardboard sign. Green took pen to paper imagining all of the things that could have happened in a person’s life that could have led to homelessness. Armed with the thought that ‘you never know what someone else has been through’ and sung with a raw emotion, Green’s compassionate and empathetic ballad has resonated with many audiences.

Green is gearing up to make his late night debut later today on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. This year Green has earned a CMA Award nomination for Musical Event of the Year for “you look like you love me” which is currently in the Top 10 at Country radio and rapidly climbing. Green’s other single, ‘Damn Good Day To Leave' is also charting in the Top 15 at Country radio.
