Joey Myron delivers Country version of ‘Chills’ featuring Lucky Dog

Joey Myron has released a countrified version of his streaming hit ‘Chills', titled ‘Chills: Nashville Version'.

Available now, the song features the help of AI duo Lucky Dog. The new version employs classic country instrumentation, while still preserving the original electronic production fans fell in love with. Take a listen:

‘Chills' (feat. DJ/producer Mickey Valen) originally released in 2018 and has since amassed over 90 million streams.

“Adding a smoky flavor to the original song is exactly what ‘Chills’ needed,” said Myron of the new take. “This Nashville version was inspired by driving through the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and listening to the original. I immediately realized I had to re-sing the song to suit the beautiful landscape. Adding a rustic and Western twist represents my evolution into a country artist with an appreciation for pop and other genres. Who said country music can’t be sensual?”

“When Joey came to me with the idea of making a country version of ‘Chills,’ I was initially surprised,” said Valen. “Lucky Dog was able to add the perfect country flair in production – paired with new gravely baritone vocals from Joey (whose voice has matured from when we made the original). Combining forces and genres transformed ‘Chills’ into an entirely new song, and now we get to share our genre-bending vision with the world.”

Myron most recently released his dance hall jam ‘Hoe Down' –  an alternative country tune inspired by line dance parties that inspire folks to let loose and have a good time.
