GRAMMY-nominated country singer/songwriter David Nail is bringing holiday cheer this year with his first-ever Christmas project, ‘A Campfire Christmas.' The five-track EP is set to release on November 1, just in time to light up the festive season. Along with the announcement, Nail dropped the lead single, a heartfelt rendition of ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas.' which showcases his rich, soulful vocals over a soothing acoustic guitar arrangement.
Fans can pre-save the full EP here.
The inspiration for ‘A Campfire Christmas' came from Nail’s wife, Catherine, who had long encouraged him to create a Christmas project. “This EP and tour were really my wife’s idea. After playing a few songs at a party she threw, in that same acoustic style you’ll hear on the EP, it felt like fate had lined up for us to finally make her wish a reality,” Nail shared.
The EP is packed with timeless holiday classics, including ‘Silver Bells' and ‘Silent Night,' perfect for cozying up by the fire and celebrating the season. Whether you’re sipping hot cocoa or gathering with loved ones, ‘A Campfire Christmas' promises to be the perfect holiday soundtrack.
Alongside the EP, Nail is launching A Campfire Christmas Tour, a 13-city journey across the U.S. starting November 30 in Knoxville, Tenn. The tour will feature an intimate, festive setting as Nail performs the Christmas classics from the EP, as well as fan-favourite hits like ‘Let It Rain,' ‘Red Light' and ‘Nights on Fire.' Most shows will also feature special guest opener, piano virtuoso Jacob Tolliver, known for his role in Million Dollar Quartet and his tours with rock ‘n' roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis.
