Stephen Wilson JR extends his ‘Søn of Dad’ tour with new 2025 dates

Rising country artist Stephen Wilson Jr. has announced the continuation of his highly successful Søn of Dad tour, adding new 2025 dates in cities like Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Toronto. Currently wrapping up his fall tour with sold-out performances, including stops at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl and New York City’s Gramercy Theatre, Wilson Jr. shows no signs of slowing down. Tickets for the newly added spring leg of the tour go on sale this Friday, October 11, at 10 a.m. local time.

A full list of tour dates is available at stephenwilsonjr.com.

Wilson Jr. shared his excitement for the upcoming shows, saying, “Søn of Dad tour Spring Edition. Expedition sønknown. Heading your way. It’s been a blessing to see this album do its work. Dad’s still out there & it’s been real good to see & meet everyone at the shows. May we continue the conversation.”

This tour extension follows last month’s release of the acoustic version of ‘Father’s Søn,' featuring HARDY, along with a performance video that marked the one-year anniversary of Wilson Jr.’s debut double album, Søn of Dad (released via Big Loud Records). Rolling Stone praised the collaboration, saying, “It's a stripped-down but powerful version, with Wilson and Hardy playing acoustic guitars and trading verses. Wilson’s reading of the song is as sturdy and haunting as ever, but Hardy’s naked vocals are a revelation.”

Wilson Jr.'s career has surged this year, with his late-night TV debut on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he delivered a rousing performance of his viral hit ‘Cuckoo.' He also appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #LateShowMeMusic series and BBC’s Later… with Jools Holland. Last month, CBS News profiled Wilson Jr. in his first major television interview, followed by a performance on CBS Saturday Morning. He has also shared stages with major acts like Brothers Osborne, HARDY, The Cadillac Three, and Joss Stone, along with festival appearances at Stagecoach, Country Thunder, and Tortuga.

Fans can look forward to an upcoming episode of Live At The Print Shop on October 17, which will feature full-band performances from Søn of Dad and an in-depth interview with Wilson Jr.
