Iron Maiden announce 50th anniversary 2025 world tour

Iron Maiden is gearing up for a monumental year as they announce the Run For Your Lives World Tour, set to kick off on May 27th, 2025, in Budapest. With 27 shows across Europe, including stadiums, festivals, and arenas, this tour marks the band’s 50th anniversary since their formation in 1975. Fans can expect a specially curated setlist featuring songs from their first nine studio albums, spanning from Iron Maiden to Fear of the Dark. The band promises their most spectacular and elaborate stage production yet, making this tour a must-see event for fans old and new.

Tour Dates and Ticket Details

The Run For Your Lives tour will feature five UK and Ireland dates, with stops at iconic venues such as the London Stadium, Birmingham's Utilita Arena, and Glasgow's OVO Hydro. Tickets will be available from Friday, September 27th, at 12 pm via LiveNation.co.uk. Iron Maiden Fan Club members will have exclusive pre-sale access, and Trooper VIP packages will be available for all UK and Ireland shows.

Lead singer Bruce Dickinson expressed his excitement, stating, “Next year is a very special one for IRON MAIDEN, and we’re going to be giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. If you’ve seen us before, get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us before, now’s your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! IRON MAIDEN’s definitely gonna get ya!”

London Stadium Homecoming Show

A highlight of the tour is the band’s performance at London Stadium on June 28th. This venue holds special significance, as it's the home of West Ham United Football Club, the lifelong team of Iron Maiden’s founder, Steve Harris. The show is not only a homecoming for Harris but also for fellow band members Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Nicko McBrain, who were all born in the surrounding area. It will be the biggest UK venue Iron Maiden has headlined outside of their festival appearances.

Steve Harris shared his excitement about the London show, saying, “My love of football and my support of West Ham is no secret, and I know many of our fans around the world share that with me too. Playing at the London Stadium as part of the Run For Your Lives tour is a dream come true. This whole UK tour is going to be a real celebration, and we can’t wait to bring this very special show to our fans across the UK and Ireland.”

A Tour Packed with Surprises and Special Guests

Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood adds that the tour will cover fan-favorite tracks from the band's first nine albums, many of which haven’t been played in years. The band has been hard at work crafting an even more spectacular show, promising fans an unforgettable live experience. “This is going to be a huge couple of years for IRON MAIDEN, and Eddie, of course,” Smallwood teased. “We are pulling out all the stops for this 50th-anniversary celebration!”

The UK and Ireland shows will feature special guests, including American rockers Halestorm for the London and Dublin performances, while British metal band The Raven Age will open for all five UK & Ireland dates. European dates will also see Avatar joining the lineup.
