Jeremie Albino has released another taster from his forthcoming album in the shape of soulful ballad ‘Our Time in the Sun'.
The heartbreaking track arrives accompanied by a music video that features a live performance from Albino. It is directed by Mark Klassen and you can watch it below:
Talking about the track Albino says, “One of my favorite songs in the world is ‘I Wish Someone Would Care.’ It’s such a strong and simple ballad. When Dan and I got together to write songs for the record, I had that in mind – trying to write a ballad with that feeling of heartache. It’s simple but hard-hitting. It turned out to be my favorite song on the record, just one of those love and heartache songs I’ve always wanted to write. The band really took the song and cooked with it right out of the gate, just grooving and feeling good. It made it so easy to pour my heart into this performance.”
‘Our Time in the Sun', the album, is Albino's Easy Eye Sound debut. He will tour the album throughout 2024 and 2024 with dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
