Singer-songwriter Meghan Patrick has released the title track for her upcoming album ‘Golden Child'.
Available now via Riser House Records / The Orchard, the song is a letter to the singer's younger self. She carefully reflects on the wisdom she has gained so far, sharing warnings and lessons learned.
Patrick has also announced that her full-length album ‘Golden Child' is available for pre-save/pre-add. It will be released on 11th October 2024.
“What if it was like writing a letter to my younger self, sharing lessons learned?” Patrick proposes, “So we included bits of wisdom, like realizing that things we once wanted might lose their appeal once we get closer or that easy money often comes with a high cost.”
Written by Patrick, Joey Hyde, and Aaron Eshuis, ‘Golden Child' sets the stage for her next project. This collection of songs she has written will prove to be her most powerful and vulnerable yet. Evoking a bittersweet blend of longing and peace as she looks back on the path you've traveled, Meghan offers her developed sense of understanding as she’s grown older, taking ownership of the past.
Continuing to grow her own fanbase, this road warrior will be on tour in the upcoming months, mixing her own shows with appearances with Flatland Cavalry and Jon Pardi.
