Danielle Bradbery has released her new album ‘Danielle', her first album in over six years and her first to be released independently on her own DB Records via Firebird.
The album takes listeners on a personal journey through the emotional ups-and-downs of heartbreak and healing. Sonically, the record blends her Country sensibilities with pop and R&B, while remaining authentic to her signature soulful sound and powerful vocals.
“I’ve learned a lot the last several years, and with ‘Danielle' I am truly representing the woman I’ve become,” says Bradbery. “During the recording process, it was important to not only share my story, but also my love for the ranging styles of music that raised me and have continued to inspire me my whole life. This album takes listeners on a journey that is at times heartbreaking and angry, but at its core embodies the creative freedom that anchors the entire work. I’m so proud of this album – my first in almost seven years. I hope it makes you laugh and cry and if you happen to see a piece of yourself somewhere in this; I hope you feel seen and empowered.”
The gospel-leaning ‘You Could' is the album's focus track, which finds Bradbery looking back at a moment of desperation, when she was at her lowest, and had to turn to God to help someone that she could not.
Bradbery says of the track; “‘You Could' represents a breaking point in a relationship that had nearly sucked the life out of me. I finally realized that no matter how much I loved and cared about someone, I couldn't be the one to fix them; so I gave it up to God. This song is really a conversation with God, a prayer coming to life. I think we've all been in a situation where we realize we are not capable, only God is.”

‘Danielle' also includes the previously released tracks ‘Wedding or a Funeral' and ‘Broken Boy'. Bradbery will celebrate the release of ‘Danielle' with four album release shows, where she will take fans through the entire album journey top to bottom in an intimate setting. The album release shows will take place in New York on 7th September at The Mercury Lounge, Los Angeles on 14th September at Hotel Cafe, Chicago on 20th September at Joes on Weed Street, and in Nashville on 27th September at The Basement East.
