Willow Avalon releases new ‘Homewrecker’: a song Jolene never got to write

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Willow Avalon has just dropped her latest single, ‘Homewrecker,' a track that's already generating buzz as the song Jolene never got to write. Released Wednesday via Atlantic Records/Assemble Sound, ‘Homewrecker' is available to stream now.

‘Homewrecker' is the third single from Willow’s highly anticipated debut album, set to be released later this year. The song follows the success of recent viral hits like ‘Yodelayheewho' featuring Maggie Antone, and ‘Tequila or Whiskey.' Her previous single, ‘Hey There, Dolly,' recorded between Nashville and New York City's famed Electric Lady Studio, pays homage to country legend Dolly Parton. Consequence even praised Willow for having a voice “reminiscent of Queen Dolly herself.”

This summer, Willow announced her first-ever headlining shows at iconic venues like The Roxy in Los Angeles, the Voodoo Room in San Diego, and Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco. She's also continuing her role as the opening act on Cage The Elephant’s North American Neon Pill Tour, including a highly anticipated stop at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 5th. ‘Homewrecker' and Willow’s other new tracks build on the success of her viral country hit ‘Gettin' Rich, Goin’ Broke,' which was named a “country song you need to know” by Billboard, featured on Spotify’s Indigo Playlist and Apple Music’s Country Roads Playlist, and has amassed 6 million streams. The song was part of her debut EP ‘Stranger' which solidified her place as an artist to watch in the music industry.
