Following days of speculation, it has been announced that Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher will reunite as Oasis for a world tour.
The brothers, who have had many a public falling out, haven't performed together since 2009. The news arrives as the band prepares to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its iconic debut album ‘Definitely Maybe'.
In a statement released to press, Oasis said, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
So far Oasis have confirmed a total of 14 stadium shows beginning in Cardiff at Principality Stadium in July 2025. The band will then play Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. It is expected that more dates across the world will be announced in due course.
The full UK dates confirmed so far for 2025 are:
- 4, 5 July – Cardiff, Principality Stadium
- 11, 12, 19, 20 July – Manchester, Heaton Park
- 25, 26 July and 2, 3 August – London, Wembley Stadium
- 8, 9 August – Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium
- 16, 17 August – Dublin, Croke Park
Tickets for the shows go on sale this Saturday (31st August) at 9am BST.
