Four-time GRAMMY-nominated artist Mickey Guyton is set to ignite the country music scene with her sophomore album ‘House On Fire' scheduled for release on September 27 via Capitol Records Nashville. The 12-track album, co-written entirely by Guyton, follows her critically acclaimed 2021 debut ‘Remember Her Name' and promises to showcase her evolving artistry and powerful storytelling.
The album features a blend of personal and dynamic tracks, including the recently released ‘Make It Me' described by NPR as a “fun, flirty, living room dance party.” Another standout is ‘Scary Love,' a heartfelt tribute to her son, inspired by a recent medical emergency. Also included is the “smoldering, R&B-tinged country ballad” (American Songwriter) ‘Nothing Compares To You' a collaboration with country superstar and friend Kane Brown. Guyton’s latest release, ‘My Side Of The Country' adds an irresistibly fun vibe to the album’s diverse mix.
Guyton first revealed the album news to her fans on social media, coinciding with her powerful performance of ‘All American' at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. This unifying anthem set the tone for what promises to be a landmark release in her career.
Following the album release, Guyton will embark on her headlining CMT ON TOUR Presents Mickey Guyton tour, with support from artists Denitia and Abbey Cone.
