Country music sensation Callista Clark is set to release her highly anticipated duet, “Gettin’ Old,” featuring Scotty McCreery on August 9, 2024. This collaboration comes as part of her new relationship with Dreamcatcher Artists. Fans can pre-save the track here.
“Scotty was my first choice for a duet partner on ‘Gettin’ Old,’” Callista shared. “I’ve always loved his voice and how he approaches his career. He absolutely nailed this song.”
The song, written by Callista, Averie Bielski, and Karen Kasowski, is produced by Joey Hyde and Frank Rogers and will be released under the Dreamcatcher Artists label, distributed by STEM.
McCreery expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “I’ve been a fan of Callista and her talent for some time, especially after having her out on my European Tour a few years ago. I loved this song from the first time I heard it, and was honored that she asked me to sing it with her.”
The duo filmed a stunning music video for “Gettin’ Old” on July 28 in Nashville. The video, directed by award-winning filmmaker Roman White for Red Mill Productions, will be released in the coming weeks.
Earlier this year, Callista released ‘Bless Your Heart,' her first single for Dreamcatcher, which quickly gained traction. The track was featured on the cover of Pandora’s Top Country Hits playlist and received extensive support across major streaming platforms. She followed this success with the releases of ‘Reckless' and a haunting cover of CCR’s ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain.' Her efforts will culminate in a live show on September 10 in Nashville and an EP release on September 27.
Scotty McCreery is also making waves on the country charts with his latest single, ‘Fall of Summer,' from his critically acclaimed album Rise & Fall. The album’s first single, ‘Cab in a Solo' marked McCreery's sixth No. 1 hit.
