Swanley micro-pub The Cotton Mill has launched a Crowdfunder today to raise money to help expand and continue growing.
The venue, which launched six years ago, has undergone quite the transformation the past few years. The building was originally a public toilet and included a taxi office in the back. The Cotton Mill has expanded its original space to take over the taxi office and worked hard to turn the garden outside into a beer garden to accommodate plenty of customers.
The Crowdfunder is aiming to raise £230,000 so that the pub can expand further to include a permanent kitchen and more indoor seating with a view to offering food to customers. At the moment, the pub serves food on the weekends from their outdoor horse box.
As part of the Crowdfunder, backers can choose from a range of awards including having their own brick inscribed. Find out more about the Crowdfunder and the plans, and get involved, at https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/the-cotton-mill-stability-growth-kitchen.

Not only that, but the pub serves the largest range of craft beers, ales and ciders in the area, making it the best pub in Swanley.
