As Morgan Wallen's six-week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit with Post Malone, ‘I Had Some Help' continues to dominate the charts as 2024's longest-running No. 1, the East Tennessee native gears up for more exciting news. Wallen is set to release his highly-anticipated single ‘Lies Lies Lies' on Friday, July 5 via Big Loud/Mercury/Republic. Fans can pre-save the track here.
‘Lies Lies Lies' was penned by Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Miller, Daniel Ross, and Chris Tompkins, and produced by Joey Moi, was recorded at London's iconic Abbey Road Studios following Wallen's sold-out show at The O2. Originally part of his Abbey Road Sessions digital series released in March 2024, the song commemorates the one-year anniversary of his record-breaking third studio album, “One Thing At A Time.” The track showcases Wallen's attempt to convince a past love that he's moved on, only to admit they are all “lies.”
Wallen will celebrate the release of ‘Lies Lies Lies' in London, the city where it was recorded, during his headlining debut at BST Hyde Park on July 4. The event will feature openers Riley Green, ERNEST, Ella Langley, Alana Springsteen, Zandi Holup, and more. Limited tickets are available at here. Exclusive U.K. merch will be sold at the event, with a limited edition ‘Lies Lies Lies' t-shirt available online at Shop.MorganWallen.com starting July 5 at 9am ET.
In line with his philanthropic efforts, a portion of every ticket sold for Wallen's shows benefits The Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF). To celebrate his Hyde Park debut, MWF has pledged $20,000 to London Youth Choirs (LYC), supporting their mission to improve access to music for disadvantaged young people. This donation will help LYC members find their unique voices and thrive through music.
As Wallen continues to tease new music, his 5x Platinum album ‘One Thing At A Time' recently returned to the top of Billboard's Country Albums chart, marking 53 weeks at No. 1—the second-longest lead in the chart's history. His collaboration with Post Malone, ‘I Had Some Help' also achieved rapid success, climbing to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in just seven weeks, making it the fastest ascent since Garth Brooks' ‘More Than a Memory' in 2007. The track is being hailed as a Song of the Summer contender by Spotify and Variety, further cementing Wallen's status as a country music powerhouse.
