From acclaimed filmmaker and visual artist Sam Taylor-Johnson (‘Nowhere Boy'), the highly anticipated ‘Back to Black' charts Amy Winehouse’s vibrant years living in London and her intense journey to fame.
Taylor-Johnson directs break-out star Marisa Abela (‘Industry') as the music icon, with BAFTA-winning actor Jack O'Connell as Blake Fielder-Civil, Eddie Marsan as Mitch Winehouse, Juliet Cowan as Janis Winehouse and Golden Globe and Oscar-nominated Lesley Manville as Amy’s grandmother, Cynthia.
Featuring many of Amy’s hit songs recorded and performed in the film by Marisa Abela, ‘Back to Black' is made with the full support of Universal Music Group and SONY Music Publishing.
‘Back to Black' is available to buy and rent from digital platforms now and comes to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on 1st July.
A HMV exclusive “First Edition” and a limited edition SteelBook will also be available on 4K Ultra HD from 1st July.
