Chase Rice to release first music as an independent artist

Chase Rice is poised to delve deeper into vulnerability with his upcoming project following the unexpected artistic shift celebrated by Billboard on his last album ‘I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell.‘ With his Diamond-certified songwriting prowess, Rice offers a glimpse into his forthcoming work with the debut of ‘Fireside’ set to release this Friday, May 10.

Co-written by Rice alongside Jonathan Sherwood, Jackson Dean, and producer Oscar Charles, ‘Fireside’ emerges as a guitar-driven anthem embracing fiery passion and the captivating dynamics of relationships. The single’s artwork pays homage to the enduring love story of Rice’s parents, adding a personal touch to the heartfelt narrative. This release marks the beginning of a new chapter for Rice as he prepares for the release of an independent album later this year.

Reflecting on the evolution of his craft, Rice shares, “The I Hate Cowboys album was a significant turning point for me. I felt like after a decade in this career, I finally found my voice and what I wanted to convey.” This introspective journey allowed Rice to explore deeper, more personal themes, setting the stage for his upcoming independent release.

Continuing on this authentic path, Rice embarked on writing retreats across various locations, including Montana, Alabama, Boston, and Carolina, reinforcing his commitment to authenticity and genuine storytelling. “I’m sharing a lot of my real life on these songs,” Rice explains, “and I can’t wait to see how that resonates with people in their own lives.”

Despite his success in thrilling live audiences, Rice’s latest endeavors push the boundaries of his artistry, blending arena-ready moments with introspective narratives. Critics have praised his growth, with Billboard highlighting the deeper themes infused in his music and Forbes recognising the evolution of Rice’s sound and storytelling.

Rice will premiere ‘Fireside’ at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, May 14, before embarking on Dierks Bentley’s Gravel & Gold Tour, which will take him to arenas and amphitheaters nationwide from June through September. Additionally, he is set to perform at major festivals including Tailgate N’ Tallboys, Summerfest, and Windy City Smokeout.
