The first of the now weekly updates in Pet Sim 99 is the Backrooms event and it’s quite interesting. For those of you who don’t know what the Backrooms are, they are a fictional liminal space that supposedly lives behind the real world that we experience daily. They are mainly endless corridors with the occasional weird room or encounter, they are also rumoured to be haunted by various monstrous beings.
As ever, there is a whole host of new pets to hatch including the Huge Plague Dragon and Huge Bloo Cat though the cat is only available in the Backrooms Forever pack which costs robux. If you don’t have the robux, you’ll have to get lucky in the trading plaza. Overall these new pets are some of the best-looking I’ve seen and they are stronger than the pets you’ll find in the normal game world.

Other goodies include the NIght Terror Booth, Night Terror Hoverboard and two new exclusive enchants. There has also been a wide range of bug fixes to improve the overall experience for all players. For all of the details head over to the official Big Games Pets blog.
