Produced by her touring guitarist Clint Wells, ‘Obsessed’ delves deep into Wade’s personal journey, exploring themes of longing for home, the complexities of relationships, and the introspection of self-discovery. From heart-wrenching ballads to gritty anthems, Wade bares it all, confronting her own flaws with unapologetic honesty.
The album marks a significant milestone for Wade, following the success of her 2023 release, ‘Psychopath,’ which earned critical acclaim from the likes of the New York Times and Rolling Stone. ‘Obsessed’ features collaborations with Grammy nominee Kesha on the track ‘Walked on Water,’ alongside standout singles like ‘Halloween’ and ‘2AM in London,’ solidifying Wade’s reputation as an emerging force in the music industry.
