Mariah Carey kicks off ‘The Celebration of Mimi’ – see the setlist

Mariah Carey kicked off her new Las Vegas show ‘The Celebration of Mimi’ last night at Dolby Live at the Park MGM.

The new show is her first Vegas residency since ‘The Butterfly Returns’, which ran from 2018 to 2020. Originally running from 12th April until 27th April, ‘The Celebration of Mimi’ will return for a second run of dates starting 26th July and running until 10th August 2024.

Celebrating the 19th anniversary of her ground-breaking, and huge-selling, 2005 album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’, the new residency is a mix of greatest hits, a few fan favourite surprises and, of course, selections from the iconic album. During last night’s show, Carey surprised fans with the live debut of ‘Mimi’ album track ‘Circles’ and she played a few songs from ‘Butterfly’ that she’s not performed live in years.

Recently we kicked off our ultimate Mariah Carey poll, which is still open for votes!
