Actor and singer-songwriter Rob Mayes is gearing up for the release of his new film ‘The Neon Highway’, released in the US on 15th March 2024.
Starring alongside Beau Bridges, Sam Hennings, Pam Tillis and Lee Brice, Mayes will showcase both his acting and his music. In the film ‘The Neon Highway’ he performs two songs ‘Dirt In My Life’ written by Chris Janson, Dallas Davidson and Tommy Cecil (released on 22nd March) and his original song ‘My Heart Is Bleeding’. Both songs are featured on the film’s soundtrack set to be released by Curb Records.
Mayes will also release his new original composition ‘Still Got My Key’, written with Craig Wiseman. The song will be released on 5th April 2024.
Renowned for his versatility, Rob Mayes has garnered acclaim for his work in various film and television projects. From his role in the Sundance cult classic, ‘John Dies at the End’ to his captivating portrayal in “A Soldierās Revenge”, which earned him the Best Actor award at the 2020 Wild Bunch Film Festival, Mayes continues to impress audiences with his talent and dedication. Not only is he a talented actor, but Mayes’ musical abilities have also earned him accolades, including being a finalist and semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition.
Later this year, Mayes will appear in the dramatic comedyĀ ‘Lost & Found in Cleveland’. Leads for the film include Martin Sheen (‘Grace and Frankie’), Dennis Haysbert (‘Far from Heaven’), Oscar nominee June Squibb (Nebraska), Stacy Keach (‘Nebraska’), Yvette Yates Redick (‘Inherent Vice’), and Santino Fontana (‘Broadwayās Tootsie’).
