The second season of ‘Sløborn‘ is coming to C4 Streaming in April courtesy of Walter Presents, it has been confirmed.
A blend of coming-of-age-drama and post-apocalyptic disaster thriller the series was created and directed by Christian Alvert. It stars Emily Kusche and Aaron Hilmer.
After many of the island’s residents died from the fateful pigeon flu, Sløborn was evacuated. But a small group of people, fearful of being exposed to an even greater risk of infection on the mainland, have resisted removal and hidden on the island. Pregnant Evelin touchingly takes care of her little brothers and tries to manage the life-threatening daily routine.
However, a power failure on the island causes completely new problems. Where will electricity, food and water come from in the future? As the comforts of civilization diminish, the explosive mix of people and tempers threatens to erupt.
