The Long Road festival announces first headliner & 40 artists appearing this year

As anticipation builds for one of the UK’s most rapidly growing festivals, The Long Road Festival has pulled back the curtain on its eagerly awaited lineup for 2024. Set against the idyllic backdrop of Stanford Hall in Leicestershire, this year’s event promises to be a three-day extravaganza of country, Americana, roots, rock, and folk music, drawing fans and families from far and wide over the August bank holiday weekend.

Headlining this year’s stellar roster is none other than Nashville powerhouse Russell Dickerson, whose dynamic stage presence and string of chart-topping hits have solidified his status as a global sensation. With an impressive track record of No. One singles and platinum certifications, Dickerson is set to deliver a headline performance that will undoubtedly be a highlight of TLR’s Rhinestone mainstage.

Expressing his excitement for the upcoming festival, Russell Dickerson shared, “Any time I have the chance to tour in the UK, I have the best experience and can’t wait to return. I’m so stoked to not only be returning, but to be headlining the Long Road Festival. It’s gonna be a blast!”

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The Long Road Festival’s lineup is as diverse as it is electrifying, featuring a lineup of over 35 acts showcasing the best of Country and Americana music. From the Red Dirt sounds of Flatland Cavalry to the soulful storytelling of Wyatt Flores, there’s something for every music lover at this year’s event.

Other highlights include American Aquarium, Chapel Hart, Red Clay Strays, Randall King, Colbie Caillat, Brittney Spencer, Andrew Combs, Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, Kristian Bush, and Pokey Lafarge, promising an unforgettable weekend of music, culture, and community.

After a triumphant appearance at the festival last year, Chapel Hart are thrilled to be back.
“We are thrilled to be back at the Long Road Festival!” They enthuse, “The UK has some of the most passionate country fans in the world, and we’re counting down the days until we connect with the community and perform some of our new music! TLR…LET’S GO!!!!!”

With its fifth edition shaping up to be its biggest and best yet, The Long Road Festival is poised to once again take its place as a must-attend event on the UK’s festival calendar. Tickets are sure to sell out fast, so be sure to secure yours and join in the celebration of all things Country and Americana this summer.

Commenting on today’s announcement, TLR’s Tennessee-born Creative Director Baylen Leonard said, “We couldn’t be happier with how this year’s line up is shaping up, and can’t wait to welcome this growing community home to The Long Road again this August, after last year’s sell out.
