Grand Ole Opry unveils Opry NextStage Class of 2024

Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry has revealed the lineup for its prestigious Opry NextStage program, presented by Tecovas, shining a spotlight on the next generation of country music talent. The class of 2024 comprises nine promising acts: 49 Winchester, Anne Wilson, Charles Wesley Godwin, Chase Matthew, Ella Langley, Flatland Cavalry, Josh Ross, Madeline Edwards, and Wyatt Flores.

The announcement was made at the Grand Ole Opry House during a press conference attended by Opry NextStage alumna Lainey Wilson and esteemed Opry member Jamey Johnson. Wilson, who was part of the NextStage class in 2021, expressed her excitement, saying, “I am such a huge fan of all of these artists, and I can’t wait to see where their musical journeys take them this year!” Johnson offered sage advice to the rising stars, urging them to remain authentic and steadfast on their musical paths.

Throughout the year, the Opry NextStage class will receive unwavering support from Opry Entertainment Group and presenting sponsor Tecovas, with dedicated original content, performances, and promotion across various brand platforms. Gillian Kennedy, CMO at Tecovas, emphasized the brand’s commitment to fostering rising talent and connecting them with new audiences, stating, “There is no better venue for this mission than the legendary Grand Ole Opry.”

Since its inception in 2019, the NextStage program has served as a launchpad for emerging artists in country music, propelling talents like Riley Green, Parker McCollum, and Lainey Wilson to ACM New Male and Female Artist of the Year accolades. The program’s alumni roster also includes notable names such as Priscilla Block, BRELAND, and Hailey Whitters.
